Absolutely yes to this! Make sure you keep them on the lead when you are on the park and use the designated dog exercise area to walk them. It’s your responsibility to clean up after your dog and to use the dog bins provided for this. And if you let your lodge, you should offer it as pet-friendly.

We understand that things can change, so if you do decide to leave us, we ensure the process is as smooth as possible. We explain your options clearly, so you have all the information you need to make the decision that’s right for you.

Yes, you need comprehensive insurance for your lodge, including adequate liability cover, particularly if you intend to let out your lodge to other holidaymakers. The cost will vary depending on your insurance provider and they will take into account all sorts of factors, for example, the size of your lodge. If you need our help, we can recommend a provider to you. As part of our own due diligence, we require a copy of your insurance certificate annually.

You do have to keep your lodge well maintained and you may also need repairs and other services. The good news is, as an owner, you have access to the Hornbeam maintenance and repairs teams. Whether you need your carpets cleaned, boiler fixed, or your lodge made safe and cosy for winter, our team are on hand to help, ensuring the upkeep of your lodge remains stress-free.

The quality time you spend at Hornbeam with family and friends, enjoying this beautiful corner of Devon, is the return on your outlay - and that’s priceless. You can let your luxury lodge when you’re not using it, which can help to balance some of your running costs, but it’s not guaranteed income.

Yes, you can let your lodge and we can help you to do it. This means you can earn money from it when you’re not using it. However, it’s not a guaranteed income so don’t build it into your affordability plans.

We don’t currently offer finance terms but, depending on your circumstances, you might decide to use your personal savings or arrange a bank loan to fund the purchase of your lodge.
